Fingerprint reader claimed by other processes

Hey there I have following to Problems:

I try to set up the Fingerprint at my Lenovo IdeaPad 3 slim but it always tells me that the Fingerprint device is disconnected or that it is already claimed by an other process but I don’t find the other Process. I already searched for it but only find the info to turn of the preload option off the Fingerprint in the BIOS but I don’t even have this option available in the BIOS so I think there’s something running in the background. It says the same when I do it over the Terminal.
All dependences are installed.

My second problem is that my Mousepad only dedects left clickes but not right click no metter which site I click. Some fix?

English is not my native language so please excuse my writing errors and feel free to correct me if needed.

I would be very grateful for an answer

Thx

So: how do you “try to do it”?
and:
what is the response?

good!

how do you know, though?

Over the Terminal and over the settings. Both says the same error.

I did read the documentation on Archlinux which are needed and looked in other Linux Forum which are needed.

Actually on this forum was an other article about the same fingerprint sensor but it Sayed I should turn of the BIOS setting I don’t have

But you don’t tell us which error …

Cave:
I do not have a machine with a fingerprint sensor and have no way whatsoever to test anything for myself.

this guide (for the command line tool)
and this guide (for the GUI)

the two seem to be mutually exclusive -
use one approach or the other - not both at the same time

That is how I understand what is written there.

In order for people to help, they would need to see what you see
and they would need system information as well.
