Does this mean I have a conflict between gnome power-profiles and TLP?
Or this?

Nov 23 19:00:45 mnu-2021 kernel: intel-spi 0000:00:1f.5: unrecognized JEDEC id bytes: c2 75 18 c2 75 18

Any help to resolve this issue is appreciated.

This kernel is EOL. Install 5.10 LTS or 5.15 for example, then remove 5.13. As it’s no longer supported updated packages or drivers might not be compatible with 5.13 any more.

Get used to check for #announcements before updating.

A bit off-topic: In your case I would think about if you really need an encrypted system, it’s not easy to handle it correctly and for private persons it’s not very beneficial IMHO.

Then put it simply in an encrypted container. This does not require to encrypt the whole system or a partition. Even if you get it solved, you run an unnecessary complex system prone to fail if you don’t perfectly know how it works.

It’s a slightly little bit more complicated than that. For compliance reasons, personal laptops need to be encrypted before taking in and out of the corporate network. :no_mouth:

OK, that’s indeed different and the reason I wrote
