External hdmi monitor not detected

Hi,

I updated all packages yesterday, and today my external hdmi monitor is not recognized.

I think that’s your problem, right there. Please provide the output of:

mhwd --list

and

mhwd --listinstalled

This is EOL for a while, how could you update? You need a supported kernel, first.

I just realised the optimus manager is not running. I have to dig into it.

First you’ll need to install the new driver…

 sudo mhwd --install pci video-hybrid-intel-nvidia-prime

The kernel update seems to solve all the issue.
