Hi, I installed latest Manjaro KDE on ThinkPad W520. Specs: i7-2720qm and NVidia Quadro 2000M. Open source drivers with nouveau work on intel and nvidia GPUs but external display has tearing and artifacts with some context menus. If i set it to nvidia-390xx only external display works if plugged on boot but laptop’s internal display stays black. With video-hybrid-intel-nvidia-390xx-bumblebee internal display works but nvidia-settings gives X server error and no output on external display regardless of it being plugged on boot. I noticed that on switchable driver nothing is loaded on lsmod. My gpu works without nox2apic and for testing I installed x11 instead of using Wayland. I read online that PRIME is incompatible for 390xx drivers. I am more on newbie side.
