External AMD GPU won't start X11 only xwayland

I’m trying to use an external AMD GPU but when the system tries to load x11 after booting it gets stuck on the loading boot and won’t start, I’ve to force a wayland season through tty in order to gain access to my system. I’ve tried to force the x11 through it too but I got this error, I’m a noob so if you can help me with commands it would be fantastic.

Thanks in advance

first. this is the basic minimum of information that’s needed. the log shows up that you’re using a system with a amd-gpu and an internal intel graphics. that might cause trouble but without further information everything is just digging in the dark.

This is what I get, I’m writing this from the wayland season

okay, you can check your session-type with

echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE

did you install the “plasma-wayland-session” package ? if not install it from the package-manager.
the command above should output wayland actually. after installing this package do a reboot. there will be a input-selector at the left, bottom corner with the next login. choose X11 and login.
recheck the above command and it should be X11.

please post the ongoing effects.

Thanks a lot for your help as soon as I’m home I’ll try it and write the output

Hi, yes I’ve that package installed and yes usually it shows the selector in the log in screen, the problem is that it doesn’t even load that screen, I’m stuck on the loading before that, the one that looks like a command line, from there I load the tty and have to manually write the dbus command for entering a Wayland session instead, the thing is that I want it to start normal and load x11 xorg and when I try to force it through the tty it gives me the error from the beginning

missing vulkan driver ?
check if the vulkan package is installed and read the link

When I type startx in tty it gives me a message that says “display is not set or cannot connect to the x server”
