Install Manjaro

  • Download the ISO and verify it against the provided checksum file.
  • Create a Manjaro Installer USB.
    • A Ventoy USB is recommended (See below).
  • Boot the Manjaro Installer (or Ventoy) USB.
  • Choose the free graphics driver option to boot.
  • From the Live environment, run Calamares (the Manjaro installer).
  • Fill in any required information
  • At the partitioning stage:
    • Select the Erase Disk partitioning method.
    • Select ext4 (the default is btrfs) as your file system.
    • Select your preferred swap options.
  • Continue to complete Manjaro installation.
  • Reboot.
