what does ls -l /sbin/init show?

check if sysvcompat is installed pacman -Q systemd-sysvcompat

/sbin/init does not exist, systemd nowhere to be found

Hi all, I was working with some systemd services and I decided to restart, but when I booted up again, I got the error “Root device mounted successfully, but /sbin/init does not exist. Bailing out, you are on your own. Good luck. sh: can’t access tty; job control turned off”. Any help would be appreciated.
