Can you help me solve this ? By the way, I’m new at linux.

5.13 Kernel is EOL. Can you try with one of the LTS Kernels, 5.4 or 5.10? I know it is improbable, but can you swap Ethernet cable (rule out bad cable) and/or plug directly into the modem to rule out router configuration?

Hi ! I’ve tried two ethernet cables, and the modem of where I live is reliable : same installation for my neighbours who have no problem. I think it comes from my system. How to update my LTS Kernel to 5.4 or 5.10 ?

Please read:
https://wiki.manjaro.org/index.php/Manjaro_Kernels

Hi ! I have intalled and run 5.10 Kernel. Besides, what does EOL mean for 5.13 Kernel ? Ethernet still doesn’t work. Here is my new inxi output :

What could I do now ? On my side, I will buy a new cable and verify on another computer if ethernet works. What about having another distro next to Manjaro in case of problem ? I don’t want to reinstall windows…

Maybe, try to install the R8168 driver ( r8168-dkms 8.049.02-1) and blacklist the R8169 driver. Make sure that you have the appropriate kernel headers installed.

EOL = End of Life

You can see the lifespans of kernels on kernel.org.

You can also try the newest kernel we have to see if it has drivers built in that fixes the issue.

Also maybe something here can help:

Hello. It appears it comes from the router of my accomadation provider (not much details). Thank you anyway, I have learned a bit.
