Error while loading shared library: libpng.12.so.0 - Hyperspace Dogfights through itch client

Trying to run a native linux application, but I get the error:

Error while loading shared library: libpng.12.so.0: cannot open object or file: No such file or directory

Not sure how to go about installing the necessary dependancies.

Try installing libpng12 and try again?

Installed lib32-libpng12 1.2.59-2 from the multilib official repository, but it didn’t fix the dependency. Would a restart make a difference?

Install both libpng12 and lib32-libpng12 then.

The problem is with a third party game, I’m to edit accordingly
