Sometimes when I click on my Sony 128GB external SSD in Files i Gnome to mount it I get this error:
Unable to access “128GB Sony”
Error mounting /dev/sdd att /run/media/niclas/128GB Sony:
mount(2) system call failed: File exists
The disk was ejected properly in Files
It also happens with other disks
Any idea how to fix it?
Try to change the Label so there are no spaces in it … Is it NTFS format too ?
Its BTRFS
I monunts most of the times so dont thing removing speces in the lable helps
And its not just this drive that has this problem
USB ports, cable …
Changed the lable to just 128GB and still the same error when mounting in Files
Tried different USB-port on different computers. The same with cable
