Welcome to the community.

Unfortunately your post doesn’t really say much, or anything really. Could you please provide some more information.

sorry but I don’t know what to add, it’s just the app doesn’t download anything, i’ve reinstalled it multiple times.

Re-installing won’t help.

Does it happen with all downloads or just some?
What are you trying to download?

What have you tried to make it work, etc.

Sorry I won’t be much help, I don’t know the software and I’m currently experiencing a migraine with blurred vision.

Hopefully someone else will come along and help out.

it happens with all downloads, I mean it never worked at the first place

How do you use it?
What do you do and what do you expect to happen as a result?

I have never found a use for a download manager myself …

it’s a QT frontend to aria2, apparently - here is the FAQ for the thing

@Mus Your post is not helpful I’m afraid.

You must give us an idea about what you want to do, what is it that you want to download.

Persepolis is an impressive python frontend for aria2

It works:

I just tested it as I needed a Gnome Manjaro ISO to play with in my virtual machine. The download completed in about 1 minute…

Though to be honest, I don’t use ‘manager’ tools for this, as most downloads work best with the tools provided (either just click to download in Firefox, or copy a link and use ‘wget’ or ‘aria2’ or ‘yt-dlp’).

Unless you can respond and add something to this thread, it is likely to be closed.

I’m trying to download files from a local website that does not work outside my country, and no the problem is not with the website because I can download from there using other tools.
btw PDM worked outside that specific website and I downloaded multiple files.

So we have our answer - your problem is with a specific website which doesn’t work outside your country.

Good to have that cleared up, though I’m not sure if anyone can figure out why.

So, this website seems to block PDM.

And this thread seems to be solved ?
