Epson L386 printer issues

Hi all!

I’m having a problem with my printer, (Epson L386) after this update. Specifically after printing a few pages, it disconnects, and I have to clear the jobs, and repeat the process.

My hardware:
KDE plasma, i7-6700 CPU, Nvidia 455.38, optimus laptop, kernel 5.4.74 LTS

What I have done so far: (after the update)

  1. I rebuilt the driver ( epson-inkjet-printer-escpr 1.7.8-1) from the AUR
  2. I reinstalled the printer
    The issue remains.

If anyone experiences similar problem with his/her printer, I would like to hear…
I have never had any issues with the stable Manjaro updates in the past, but this last one is at least annoying.
