Epson EcoTank ET-2720 - Failed to add new printer

I am trying to set up an Epson EcoTank ET-2720 printer and would need some help.

First I installed epson-inkjet-printer-escpr from AUR.

Then I tried to add the printer in the system settings. When I search for its IP it shows up with the correct name but when clicking on it I get “Failed to add new printer.”.

How can I find out what the problem is? What can I try now? (I am completely new to printing in Linux.)

Might be better to add your printer through the web interface, available on http://localhost:631/
