I have been using Manjaro with XFCE for several weeks now with no issues. Today I installed the Enlightenment WM from the software repositories. When I first log in to my computer, I have no issues with sound, but after logging out and logging back in, the Enlightenment audio mixer fails to find any of my audio devices.
Enlightenment is not very common on Manjaro - the number of users I have seen over the years can be counted using one hand and I am not one of them.
The window manager may need some additional configuration - but what and where?
Is the issue present when you restart your system or only when logging out and back in?

Update: I ended up reinstalling a bunch of software, such as light DM, and the problem is now fixed.
