Can anyone help in making sure easy effects are still running when I switch from desktop mode to seams os gamescope session as it seems to close ?
I know nothing about Easy Effects and cannot help with it, generally – however, is it possible that the package is only designed for ‘desktop mode’ ?

gamescope is a compositor and does not appear to have any connection to audio
easyeffects requires pipewire
I suggest check easyeffects and audio streams from games/steam in PipeWire
pw-cli list-objects
Audio might be bypassing easyeffects DSP and playing direct to sink output
