@p1x3l3d: Well, sorry, but I was trying to give detailed instructions and explanations to @matbos in an attempt to debug what exactly is going wrong, there was no way I was going to type up everything twice, and I figured it will be easier for him to understand the instructions in his native language.

To sum up what we tried so far: check the audio volumes (earpiece and microphone), check the permissions on the spacebar/messages.sqlite file, check the version of plasma-phone-components (5.23.2-1 is known bad, tries to use ModemManager whereas everything else is still on ofono), check that ofono is running and ModemManager is not. But everything there looks good, and still it does not work.

The only difference I see so far between @matbos’s non-working setup and my working one (as I wrote in French in During a call my "interlocuteur" can't listen me - #10 by Kevin_Kofler), other than the obviously different local operator, is that the operator @matbos uses (Bouygues Télécom, France) apparently sets the SIM card to require a PIN for unlocking whereas the operator I use (HoT, Austria) sets it to unlocked by default (so the only PIN I have to enter is the phone/software password). But I doubt that that alone can be the issue, because I figure it would affect more people.

@matbos: Il vaut peut-être le coup d’essayer la version d’essai sortie hier, où tout passe à ModemManager à la place de ofono. (English: It might be worth trying the testing version released yesterday, where everything switched to ModemManager instead of ofono.)

I can’t ever call but the message in telephone is not the same.

Now it s writing "il est impossible de trouver des périphériques de modem "

And it’s now not writing Bouygues Telecom on top on left.

Attention, avec la version testing, il faut au contraire que tu actives ModemManager et désactives ofono pour pouvoir utiliser téléphonie et SMS:
(Beware, with the testing version, you now have to do the opposite, i.e., enable ModemManager and disable ofono, for phone calls and SMS to work:)

sudo systemctl disable --now ofono.service
sudo systemctl enable --now ModemManager.service

Now i have no message error on the application telephone
but when i go to the application and try to call someone it don’t call it go to ‘’ liste active d appels’’ but don’t call

and i have not bouygues telecom on top on left

and i don’t ever receive sms

sur testing j avais plus rien du tout
sur stable j ai sms et j ai marque en haut a gauche bouygues telecom et j ai marque dans telephone impossible de realiser un appel actuellement
