Dummy Output on Asus C302

Hello everyone!
I have Asus C302 (Skylake, ex-ChromeOS/Google) with no sound from the speakers. I do have sound from the bluetooth. I did install sof-firmware, the new kernel 5.19.7-1, rebooted several times, but still no sound.
This is the output from aplay -l:

    ~  aplay -l  ✔
aplay: device_list:275: no soundcards found...

And output inxi -Faz is:

do you have sound from jack?
did you installed wireplumber with pipewire?
post output from:
pacman -Qs pulse
for pulse leftovers

Hello again brahma! No, I dont have sound from the jack, only from the bluetooth. And yes, I have installed wireplumber with pipewire. Hier is the output from pacman -Qs pulse:

local/lib32-libcanberra 1:0.30+r2+gc0620e4-1
A small and lightweight implementation of the XDG Sound Theme Specification (32-bit)
local/lib32-libpulse 16.1-1

local/libcanberra 1:0.30+r2+gc0620e4-1
A small and lightweight implementation of the XDG Sound Theme Specification
local/libpulse 16.1-1
A featureful, general-purpose sound server (client library)
local/pipewire-alsa 1:0.3.57-1.0
Low-latency audio/video router and processor - ALSA configuration
local/pipewire-pulse 1:0.3.57-1.0
Low-latency audio/video router and processor - PulseAudio replacement
local/plasma-pa 5.25.5-1 (plasma)
Plasma applet for audio volume management using PulseAudio
local/pulseaudio-alsa 1:1.2.7.1-1
    ALSA Configuration for PulseAudio
local/pulseaudio-ctl 1.70-1
Control pulseaudio volume from the shell or mapped to keyboard shortcuts.

Also the output from inxi -A:

Audio:
Device-1: Intel Sunrise Point-LP HD Audio driver: snd_soc_skl
  Sound Server-1: ALSA v: k5.19.7-1-MANJARO running: yes
  Sound Server-2: PipeWire v: 0.3.57 running: yes

you can remove the leftovers:
pamac remove plasma-pa pulseaudio-alsa pulseaudio-ctl
if it gives you again the kdeconnect dependency, remove kdeconnect if you are not using it;
then create this file:
kate /etc/modprobe.d/audio.conf
and put there this line:
options snd-intel-dspcfg.dsp_driver=1
save the file, reboot and test jack and speakers

There was leftover indeed, I have followed the commands - still no sound from speakers and jack. Only from bluetooth. Also the sound icon is gone, nothing to see in the application launcher/settings too

post picture of this:
alsamixer --card=0 --view=all
and sof-firmware is installed?

    ~  alsamixer --card=0 --view=all  ✔
invalid card index: 0
try `alsamixer --help' for more information

I did installed sof-firmware

so remove the conf:
sudo rm /etc/modprobe.d/audio.conf
reboot and check again if you can access alsamixer…
also post output from:
sudo lspci -v | grep -i -A7 "Audio"
sudo dmesg | grep -E 'sof|snd_hda|alsa|audio'

conf removed. Rebooted, from alsamixer --card=0 --view=all same story.

    ~  sudo lspci -v | grep -i -A7 "Audio"  ✔

lets install back pulse and reinstall sof, and see if that helps:
pamac install pulseaudio-bluetooth manjaro-pulse sof-firmware
reboot and run:
aplay -l

I needed to uninstal easyeffects and after pamac install pulseaudio-bluetooth manjaro-pulse sof-firmware and installing about 350MB, rebooted, but srill:

    ~  aplay -l  ✔

post output from:

Here we go:

post logs, maybe there will be something:

Yes, I do understand. Nothing can be done. And no, I am not dual booting with Windows - has read that dual booting gives a lot of problems. Here are the logs:

    ~ 

here are logs related to the audio…

try this:

sudo modprobe -v snd-hda-intel
sudo alsa force-reload

and test, no need to reboot, if it doesnt work try this:

sudo modprobe -v snd-hda-intel
sudo modprobe -v snd-soc-avs
sudo modprobe -v snd-soc-skl
sudo alsa force-reload

try audio

    ~  sudo alsa force-reload  1 ✘

sudo: alsa: command not found

Also no sound from bluetooth

Thank you for your efforts, brahma! Lets coninue tomorrow, because its getting late here and need to wake up in 6 hours

ok, you can try this tomorrow…
pipewire has better support for bluetooth, so thats probably the reason… found possible solution, so lets try it:
create again this file:
kate /etc/modprobe.d/audio.conf
and put there this line:
options snd-hda-intel index=-2
save it, reboot and enter into bios and check if:
fast boot is disabled - you may not have this option

if it didnt work, download linux mint iso, flash it and boot with it and test if the audio is working there

It didn’t work and sof-firmware should not support skylake platform.
Tested linux mint, not work.
