Issue with hybrid nvidia-amdgpu setup

I was able to solve the issue on my own. I just appended /sbin/prime-offload to the end of /usr/share/sddm/scripts/Xsetup and /sbin/prime-switch to the end of /usr/share/sddm/scripts/Xstop and then running optimus-manager --switch hybrid Many other people on the fourm appear to be having the same or a similar issue so i hope this solution will be of some use.

Video-hybrid-amd-nvidia-prime no HDMI on Dual-GPU Laptop

My laptop is an Asus TUF FX505 which has two graphic cards - an AMD integrated and an Nvidia 1650. Connecting an external monitor to my HDMI port shows a black screen. I think the display is detected though as the settings app shows the “join, mirror, single display” options. But they dont have any effect. Just a black screen on the external monitor. Here are some details.
