Dropbox PGP Signature not found when updating via terminal

Hello.

I’ve installed the dropbox client for arch linux. I also imported the gpg key accordingly gpg --recv-keys 1C61A2656FB57B7E4DE0F4C1FC918B335044912E as described in the pinned comment. The installation also always works without an issue.
When Dropbox is getting a new update however and i try to install it via sudo pamac update I get the following error:

==> Verifying source file signatures with gpg...
dropbox-lnx.x86_64-172.4.7555.tar.gz ... cat: write error: Broken pipe
FAILED
==> ERROR: One or more PGP signatures could not be verified!

Even tho the key is imported. So I’m only getting this issue when trying to update it, not installing it (I tried reinstalling multiple times already).

Another very weird thing: when i update it via the GUI (“Add/Remove Software”) it updates without any problem. So the problem only exists when trying to update via the command line using pamac update.

Does anyone know how to solve that issue?

Don’t use pamac with sudo. Just do pamac update and check the output.
