Double notifications for pulseaudio

Hi guys,
When I turn volume louder or reduce volume, or disable sound or microphone, there are 2 (double, slightly different looking) notifications telling the same thing instead of 1 notification.

I know 1 notification is from xfce4-notifyd-config because it lasts 10 seconds, the other lasts about 3 seconds.

I think it’s because of a package I installed a couple of weeks ago but I can’t remember which one it was.

Please help me find out the cause.

Pacman log (/var/log/pacman.log) should show all packages installed/updated via pacman or pamac

Application tab in xfce4-notifyd preferences should show options to mute notifications

I removed the following packages:

  • removed xfce4-volumed-pulse (0.2.3+6+ge5d643b-1)
  • removed manjaro-pulse (20221015-2)

Then logged out and logged back into the machine and the issue was fixed.
