Distros pushing Wayland instead of X11?

Hey guys… A really newbie question. Are all distros of Linux pushing to use “wayland” rather than x11?

@MrDerby01 I moved your post, because it was out of place and hijacking topics are against the forum rules.

Yes, because X11 is developed since 1987 and is over 30 years old. There were no major improvements for years and since a lot legacy features prevent them to improve the software, wayland was born to create a more modern display-server from scratch. In the future it should replace X11 completely and while the times goes X11 application should be run-able on wayland aswell. So a Wayland client and X11 Server+Client can co-exist.
