Displayport audio interface not detected

I use the Displayport as both a video out and audio output.
However, the Displayport is not listed as an option for audio out.
The only options I have are internal speaker, the headphone jack and the headset jack.

I had the same issue. Only solution was manually adjust the pins, since they were not registered automatically because the chip/firmware was slightly modified by HP in that case:

Hello, I add this just for reference if someone is searching. After a firmware update in the UEFI-Settings the Sound of the DisplayPort doesn’t work anymore.
