I have bought a Laptop and using a DisplayLink Hub to connect monitor and other peripherals.
Only the LTS Kernel is working fine , with other kernels DisplayLink service is not working at all.
Any reason why?
Kernels are built using complex pieces and hardware is constantly evolving therefore regressions happens as new code are tested and new implementations evolve.
The above is the reason there is LTS kernels - so in a case like yours - just stay with the LTS - and if you feel like it periodically test newer kernels.
