I deed see dhcpcd is not anymore on the plasma iso
is it not anymore required?
It was never required.
And no one seems to know why it was included in the first place.
NetworkManager has always already provided the functionality needed.
(someone looked at the packages list and could not find justification for dhcpcd and so removed it)
