Device not waking up from suspend

hey guys, I’m back in Manjaro after a couple of years and probably for the first time using it on a laptop. I have an Asus expertbook with intel i5 and xe graphics and I’m having a really bizarre issue. It doesn’t wake up after being suspended, let me be suspended because of inactivity or using the power menu or sytemctl suspend, it doesn’t wake up. I see that the keyboard lights gets turned on after i try to wake it up but no screen or any other kind of feedback, I need to hold the power button to turn it off and then turn it back on, this is really an inconvenience. Here’s the output of journalctl --boot -1 | sed -n -r "/Starting.+Suspend/,/Finished.+Suspend/p":

Jan 09 12:26:35 mahdisLappy systemd[1]: Starting System Suspend...
Jan 09 12:26:35 mahdisLappy systemd-sleep[1942]: Entering sleep state 'suspend'...
Jan 09 12:26:35 mahdisLappy kernel: PM: suspend entry (s2idle)

As far as I understand there’s nothing abnormal here but again never really had to look into it.

Anyway, here’s the output of inxi -Fazy:

Let me know if there’s any other info I can provide.

Hi and welcome to the forum :+1:

Try output of journalctl --grep “(suspend|resume)” which should show more…

Plus regarding s2idle see: Search results for 's2idle ACPI BIOS' - Manjaro Linux Forum

Thanks, @TriMoon, I guess I should have done more searching before posting here. This solved the issue for me:
