Good Monday to you!

I wanted to take a moment to update all DeLinuxCo users out there, on the current status of the project.

First, I have purchased the domain delinux.co and have successfully moved the main website to that domain. so instead of https://www.delinuxco.com it is now just https://delinux.co . A little cooler branding :slight_smile: , someone on this forum recommended that I should do that a while back, but when I did look into it, the domain was not available. So when it came up, I snagged it! Let me know if you see any problems with it.

I have not compiled a new ISO since March 3rd of 2026. because there are some basic changes that will take effect on the new ISO when it comes out and I want it to be complete.

My current development environment is being rebuilt, back in May I tried to build a fresh ISO and had some strange results. I am working through those issues, basically rebuilding the entire ISO VM and separating the package builds from the ISO VM.

Also, Xlibre is currently working on a dedicated package build for Manjaro users in order to avoid the issue we had last month with Xlibre packages being built agains Arch but breaking on Manjaro because certain packages had not been updated in Manjaro, a purely timing issue.

Xlibre will have a dedicated repo for Manjaro users, and I would like to have that repo included at that time of the ISO release.

The current ISO (260331) will work just fine, anyone that installs the current ISO needs to make sure they follow the “After Install” procedures after a successful installation but before doing a full update, there is a link on the left panel with the letter “D” as a shortcut.

A couple of noteworthy points on using the current ISO;

  1. Duplicati-bin should be unsinstalled and duplicati-appimage installed instead.

  2. You can now install zen-browser-appimage and firefox-appimage, these packages now have firejail integrated, you can run either package in a system sandbox by right-clicking on the icons and select “Run in jailed”.

  3. For those interested in running local LLM’s, LM-Studio is now available in the DeLinuxCo repo under lm-studio-appimage
