Dedicated app store

I think it would be great if Manjaro had it’s own app store instead of a package manager, Pamac is friendly indeed but it could still cause some confusion for beginners, a dedicated app store would be much easier and intuitive for end users, we could use Pop!_OS’s store as an inspiration, it’s easy to use, simple, clean, and intuitive.

I’m afraid that’s not feasible, because it would require a complete revision of our package management and build systems, and that’s not how the ALPM works. Manjaro is and will always remain an Arch derivative, and so we cannot afford to break compatibility with the ALPM.

I think Pamac is the easiest package manager I have used to date.
