Manjaro i3 x86_64 was running perfectly on my Samsung nc110 netbook with 20GB disk space and 2GB of memory until the Friday 6th Dec 2024 updates.
The files that were updated were:
hwdata, lib32-mesa, lib32-vulkan-intel/radeon, lib32-zlib, libwacom, lightdm-slick-greater, mesa, perl-image-exiftool, sof-firmware, sqlite, and vulkan-intel/radeon.
After the update, the system booted ok, but conky, the menu system, all terminals and CPU readouts failed to function. The mate terminal opened without a prompt being displayed, but would accept commands which were not visible.
The latest i3 ISO (Zeta) won’t install, it slows to a halt, possibly due to the nc110 not meeting the required minimum criteria.
As far as I know Calamares installer require ~4GB (the later system may use less, but for installation this is required)
