Hi
I have installed Manjaro XFCE on a new computer and when I try to configure my printer via CUPS, it wont accept my password.

I have tried both my regular user name and “root”.

here is a inxi info dump.

Try installing the (meta)package manjaro-printer and retry CUPS settings again.

Are you using root’s password?

It is already installed.
Should I remove and reinstall?

Yes, I tried username: root
with the root password.
I also tried my user name with my password.

It acts like I am giving it the wrong password, but I am not.

There is a GUI app for printer config system-config-printer, try that one.

Otherwise try CUPS web interface wants a password? / Newbie Corner / Arch Linux Forums

Thank you.
This worked.
I was able to configure using system-config-printer.
