I have installed Brave from the official Manjaro repository:
sudo pacman -S brave-browser
I am unable to reproduce what you describe.

Note that on the chance you installed Brave from the AUR, no support is typically offered, though Members may still offer their experiences. Use of the AUR is officially unsupported by either Manjaro or Arch.
