Crypto mining with manjaro

Hi everyone!
In these days I would like to set up a lay miner, just to play with.
On the main repo, I did not find something interesting, eg:

  • minergate does not connect/works;
  • old school bitcoin is out of question (cg-miner not rentable at all: no fun).
    My question is:
    is there any working CPU miner and coin is it worth trying?

If, by “worth trying” you mean that you could make more money than the cost of electricity, that’s very doubtful.

For Bitcoin for sure, but any other coins?

bfg miner seems super complicated, it just fails at pool config even tho everything was correct
