Creating a Video game, would like to use Manjaro Logo in Tools used credit.

Hey Manjaro team.

I am currently in the process of creating a video game, a Railroad Tycoon style game. called Steam powered Tycoon, and been thinking about adding the Manjaro logo in a tools used section in credits.

I got the idea from Legendary pilots that has a similar set of logos in the end of their trailer https://youtu.be/vFX0o-ROXTQ?si=d7JQ34UdqVbMCaO6&t=125

I have been searching the forums for an answer to this where i found this forum page Creating video tutorials, can I use the Manjaro logo?

so as per that forum post i am asking for permission, if there is a better way to do this please let me know.

Provided there is no suggestion of affiliation with Manjaro, I personally see no issue based on your description. The comments from @linux-aarhus in the topic you linked will still apply.

Similar requests have been made many times.

was looking on the forums but that page was not showing up, thanks for sharing.

Manjaro has been making its way into my life for years and have been my primary system on all my PCs since 2024. So it is vary much a “proudly made with” credit.

but it will be among the other tools i have used so no affiliation/endorsement should be suggested :slight_smile:
