Are you trying to play an old game on linux? In my opinion, the easiest solution for you is to install Windows, because otherwise you probably won’t be able to solve this problem, cs1.6 is pretty old. There is also an option to play counter strike: global offensive, because cs: go is really better for linux users thanks 1.6. I personally never liked cs 1.6 and I played counter strike source much more often. In my opinion, css is better both in graphics and in gameplay, but it is also old and I do not know if it will go on linux. Cs go is probably the best option right now, but the only thing that’s most unpleasant is the skins. Although skins can be purchased through a similar service https://skinsmonkey.com/ so I think the skins will not be such a problem.

Debian and slasx work fine on linux, why shouldn’t it work on arch?
