Copy TIME & DATE to clipboard does not work on wayland

Sometimes i use “copy to clipboard” from the RIGHT CLICK menu of the time in the panel. Works fine with x11. It does not work with wayland.

This is strange. I was able to copy from the available formats one time just now, but subsequent attempts failed.

Most plasma components has a button Report a Bug… on the about page for the component which will take you to the relevant bugtracker to report it.

so it isnt a manjaro problem, it is KDE wide?
why did nobody notice?

btw “clipboard empty” is not correct. the previous copied thing still exists.

Because not many people use that functionality, perhaps?

I have never used it, until now;
and can also confirm that this fails on Wayland.

However, the data does show in the Clipboard widget; after clicking the Clipboard widget icon (not the entry) the data pastes as expected; but fails without this intermediary.
