Controlling which devices can wake from sleep?

I’m not sure how to set which devices can wake from sleep. For whatever reason, the defaults do not even seem consistent from motherboard to motherboard. I found this but did not find my answer there.

I’d also like to make it possible to wake the machine by pinging the network device, which I vaguely remember doing a long time ago but have no clue how to do at the moment.

Oh, I’m an idiot. It does mention it in there, it’s /proc/acpi/wakeup. This is a partial answer, but I’m still not sure how to use it as I don’t think these names are consistent with the output of lsusb. If anyone has better suggestions, that would be great.

Still curious about network card if anyone knows.
