I’m using a generic ps3 controller, for some reason it doesn’t work, i tried to look at the lsusb and he doesn’t seen to be recognised, i also tried “sudo dmesg -w” and nothing is shown by the controller.

Well, if the system doesn’t see anything from
lsusb
sudo dmesg -w
journalctl -f
when you plug it in and unplug it
then there are only few possible reasons:
- the USB port is broken
- the controller is broken
- the cable is broken
Eliminate the first option by testing the port with another device.
Check the controller on another machine for the other two
Thanks, i gonna try to test the controller on a friend pc when i get a chance to see if it’s the controller or maybe the cable that it’s not working
