I wanted to install a clock in XFCE environment but this is how it goes conky widget’s texts go inside each other

how do i do this? Where are the conky scripts? I don’t know about this :sweat_smile:

look in .config/conky for conky.conf.

Do you mean the scrolling text? If so that’s how it was designed.

If you don’t want it to scroll then you can replace

${color grey}Info:$color ${scroll 32 Conky $conky_version - $sysname $nodename $kernel $machine}

with

${color grey}Info:$color Conky $conky_version - $sysname $nodename $kernel $machine

or

${color grey}Info:$color Conky $conky_version 
${color grey}$sysname $nodename $kernel $machine

If you don’t want that information you can delete the line.
