This is my first post here, and I want to congratulate the Manjaro and Arch developpers on a job well done.
I used Kubuntu/KDE NEAON Linux for more than 10 years, and it served me well.
Recently, my Samsung laptop broke (it started smoking and stopped working)
So I bought this new laptop Asus TUF A17 FA706IU Ryzen 7.
When trying to install KDE Neon, things did not work, and after some Googling I found that the reason is that they don’t use recent kernels and drivers for this fairly new hardware.
So I tried some other distro’s that use more recent kernels and drivers (OpenSuse Tumbleweed, Fedora, and Manjaro), and Manjaro is the only one that runs without quircks.
Also installing the NVIDIA and Brother drivers was a breeze.
Manjaro and Arch also have excellent technical documentation, In the past I even used it to solve some problems in Kubuntu.
So thanks for the good work on supporting recent hardware, so I don’t have to go back to windows.
