I just made an update via “Add Software” (the binary is called pamac-manager) which went successful. But the request to restart the system is presented in a confusing way:
It’s declared as a warning, which I don’t feel appropriate.
The message roughly translates as:
Error while configuring manjaro-system:
A restart is required for applying the changes.
The use of the word “error” makes me think that something went wrong. However, requiring a restart for changes to become effective doesn’t seem to be an error as it’s something that I’m used to when installing bigger updates.
I think it would be an improvement if this message could be presented without using words like warning or error.
