Config File To Backup Taskbar Settings?

Is there a configuration file that includes your taskbar on KDE? I havent gotten it figured out yet, but occasionally my desktop will freak out, desktops on different monitors get scrambled, switched around, and when I fix them the taskbars are all wiped.

Seems like the simple thing to do would be to backup and reload whatever configuration it all is written into.

I tried searching and couldnt find anything within this context, they another post may cover it and am ignorant of the overlap.

Well, first of all, you’ll need to get your terminology right. There are panels and there are task managers, and the task manager is normally a widget on the panel.

In general, I would say that the contents of the panel — i.e. widgets — are stored in ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc, but I’m not sure where the pinned applications on the task manager are stored.

Edit: Upon closer inspection, it turns out that the pinned launchers are also stored in that same file.
