CONFIG_ANDROID=y in Manjaro Linux config

Hello everyone,

I stumbled across this article: The end of CONFIG_ANDROID [LWN.net]
It suggests that the CONFIG_ANDROID=y configuration does indeed more than expected, i.e., more than only activating additional drivers, and that is usually not recommended for ordinary Desktop systems. I checked if it’s also enabled for the Manjaro kernel and as it turns out, it is.

Is there a specific reason why it is enabled for Manjaro?
Thanks!

Yes.
Anbox and Waydroid needs it.
