Computer not able to enter sleep mode

For about a month now I’ve not been able to use the sleep mode on my computer.
Instead I have to actually shutdown.

Here’s some information about the system:

put your computer in sleep and then run:
journalctl --boot -5 --no-pager
and check messages after entering suspend/sleep

also in the messages you provided:
ahci 0000:00:17.0: port does not support device sleep
check with:
lspci
what is under the 0000:00:17.0

journalctl --boot -5 --no-pager --lines=50 give the following

its related probably to disks…
so try to suspend again and then run this:
journalctl -b -g suspend

He’s the output of that.

post also output from:

That’s the output, going to try with more recent and older kernels in the meantime.

Edit.: Tested in older kernels as far back as last LTS one and still the same result.

if it doesnt work also with the 5.17 kernel, try running this:
systemctl suspend
also check:
systemctl --failed
and create a new user, and try suspending, and see if it works

$ systemctl --failed

Created another user but the result is the same. Still not able to enter sleep mode.
