Ist mir ein Rätsel wie @Andi123 das so oft übersehen kann. 
@Andi123 : die Paketgruppe base-devel (alle Pakete darin) installiert zu haben ist eine Vorraussetzung für die Nutzung des AUR
Wenn Du den standardmäßig vorhandenen Paketmanager pamac (der hat eine grafische Oberfläche) genommen hättest, wäre das ganze wohl schon lange erledigt gewesen.
Aber so, durch das manuelle Vorgehen, lernst Du die zugrunde liegende Technik kennen …

Compizinstallation ohne Fehler.
Aber im Compiz Manager fehlt der Arbeitsflächenumschalter.
Es sind keine Arbeitsflächen erstellbar, der Würfel bleibt “Eindimensional”.
Und in den Würfeleinstellungen gibt es nur die Option "Taste zum entfalten des Würfels.
Es müssten aber viele Tasten und Maustasten Einstellungen vorhanden sein.
Es fehlen auch fusion-icon und Emerald.
Daher Compiz nicht brauchbar, schade.
Es hat nicht sollen sein!
Vielleicht solltest Du lieber dieses Paket verwenden - ist neuer und ich habe es oben schon mal verlinkt.
Und fusion-icon ist ein separates Paket, von vor einem Jahr vor der Pandemie (January 2019).
Auch emerald ist ein separates Paket.
Das mit dem ein/zweidimensionalen Würfel ist sicher eine Konfigurationsgeschichte.
Um einen Würfel zu haben braucht es ja zumindest 4 Arbeitsflächen.
In Xfce ist der Standard glaube ich eine oder zwei.
Ich habe die Zeit mit compiz lange hinter mir gelassen und ich weiß nicht mehr, wie man den konfiguriert - mir gehen die Effekte auf den Keks.

Auch linux-aarhus Vorschlag brachte keine Lösung.

I’d suggest you reinstall and use ext4 instead.
