Color correction

Hi all! It’s been a while since i installed linux for the first time, it was a far Ubuntu 6.06 LTS. Since then, desktop usability improved a lot! Compliments to all developer!

I am a little into photography, and i noticed that when i open my images in gnewview they are a bit more contrasted than in Darktable or GIMP.
I calibrated my screens with Argyll and DisplayCAL and applied the profile in KDE color corrections.

Do you have any suggestion on how to verify my settings, or any helpful guide?

Thank you all,
Gio
