I’m using the gnome clipboard indicator shell extension. If I select a clipboard entry from the “clipboard history stack” I always need to select it twice. Only after the second time, I clicked the entry, the value becomes available to paste.
How do I debug this?
The same is true for the gnome-screenshot tool. I added a shortcut to take a screenshot from a selection (Ctrl + Shift + Print), which will be put into the clipboard. If I press the shortcut, I can draw the selection rectangle, and a screenshot is taken. At least the audio/visual feedback of gnome-screenshot indicates that.
But the screenshot isn’t available for pasting. I have to take a second screenshot (hit Ctrl + Shit + Print) a second time. Only then, the screenshot is available.
How do I debug this?
I’m running gnome under wayland.
