Click on icon to minimize application

hey anybody knows how to activate “click on application icon to minimize” im having problem with it while many tabs open on screen every time i want to minimize tab i need to go to upright corner ti minimize , i dont know how to activate when we click on application icon on dock to minimize running application

Go to Extensions (or right click on Dock and) > Dash to Dock Settings > Behavior > Click action

and there you have the Minimize
