Clementine Visualizations not working

I am using the Clementine Music player, and projectM visualizer is installed. However the visualizations are empty. I can see the projectm logo reacting to the music, so it would work if I could select the visualizations.

In the clementine.conf file I have:

    [Visualisations]

    geometry="@ByteArray(\x1\xd9\xd0\xcb\0\x1\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\x19\0\0\x3;\0\0\x2\x18\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\x19\0\0\x3;\0\0\x2\x18\0\0\0\0\0\0)"

    preset_paths=@Invalid()

    mode=1

I can find the visualizations in the path for projectm, but changing the configuration doesnt help as it gets rewritten at start. I have seen this problem in the Arch wiki, but not sure where to go for resolution.

This has to be an issue of pointing to the wrong path at build?
