When I’m going to run the Windows application which I was running before without any problem, I get the following error:
002c:fixme:ver:GetCurrentPackageId (00007FFFFE2FFEB0 0000000000000000): stub
0024:fixme:heap:RtlSetHeapInformation HEAP_INFORMATION_CLASS 1 not implemented!
0034:fixme:ver:GetCurrentPackageId (00007FFFFE2FFEB0 0000000000000000): stub
It’s emule if it’s necessary to know. Besides, I get the following dialog:
I’m not sure whether an update caused it or I did something which I shouldn’t.
Any idea?

Well, this isnt your problem … but …
Why would you want to run emule via wine on manjaro?
(or any other p2p like thing through wine?)

Because using wine to do anything over the internet is already … less than ideal.
Doing so to explicitly connect to others and download/upload more so.
And … theres simply no reason to, with much better options if you want to accomplish the same things in the same way.
If you need access to e2dk and/or kad networks with a similar interface … there is amule
in the repos and various others in the AUR.

eMule was a free peer-to-peer file sharing client using the donkey network, right?
I thought this was more or less abandoned as a relic of the early 2000’s… there was Amule and Xmule and a bunch of other stuff besides.

Oh yeah … and the fact that the last emule release was about 14 years ago.
But apparently there is community continuation…

Yeah, I know amule, but in practice it’s not as good as emule in performance. It’s the only option I’ve, I think.

Please don’t omit the source of question and give me a solution if you know.
Thanks
Considering that it’s a Windows application and thus not designed for a UNIX-style operating system, and that you appear averse to using a GNU/Linux-native alternative, I would suggest directing your inquiry to either (1) the makers of that software, or (2) a support forum for Microsoft Windows applications.
The fact that some Windows applications can be made to run on top of a GNU/Linux system should be regarded as a bonus, not as one of the core functionalities or design considerations of GNU/Linux. GNU/Linux was not designed for that purpose, and its ability to run Windows applications is not to be taken for granted.

If you decide to run a Windows application through a layer then you are on your own.
You could try some of the frameworks that builds upon Wine
Personally I have found that the commercial Crossover is by far the best option.
