Can't run League of Legends via Lutris or snap

I’ve tried running League of Legends both via Lutris (following the instructions in /r/leagueoflinux) and snap. The game installs fine, but doesn’t load past the splash screen. I looked through the forums and didn’t find a solution that applied to my case. I updated all my drivers and I’m running a fresh install, only the game is installed.

Here is my system info:

Thanks in advance.

Did you configure anything to use the dedicated graphics card? Maybe you try to run the game on the integrated graphics and it fails.

Enable Nvidia Prime render offload setting in Lutris should do it. Either on the game properties now that it is created in Lutris, or globally in Lutris to set as default for future installation.

Yes, that setting is enabled.

So, I’ve been messing around with the settings, following up on that suspicion that it could be something to do with the graphics driver.

I followed all the instructions on the “Configure Graphics Cards” page on the wiki. And when I run the command

glxinfo | grep OpenGL

I get an output that says the intel driver is being loaded:

Could this mean that the nvidia drivers aren’t loading properly? Maybe this has something to do with my issue?

Any help appreciated.

From what I can find, League of Legends is a 32bit game. Have you installed the lib32-nvidia-yourdriverxx-utils package? to install it look for the package replacing yourdriver with the 64bit driver number you have installed. An example, if you have the 510 driver you would install lib32-nvidia-510xx-utils.

I tried installing it and got the following error message (losely translated from my native language):

It wasn’t possible to satisfy the dependencies:

  • the removal of nvidia-utils breaks the dependency ‘nvidia-utils=515.57’ required by linux515-nvidia

However, I have lib32-nvidia-utils installed.
