i have clicked add new widgets, alt+d,a and alt+d,e add widget. still not appearing in my desktop. thanks.

After selecting, from the desktop, the menu option “add widgets” does not appear the list of widgets?
Or can’t you see them on your desktop?
Note: To add them to the desktop: double click or drag them, from the widgets list
The widget list is not showing at all…
